You’ve gotten past the pregnancy phase and can finally lay eyes on your precious baby! Now that he or she is here, you can put your hard work of months of gathering the best baby products around to use. But what about YOU? Taking care of yourself should be a priority too, which is why I have rounded up my postpartum essentials for moms that will help you get adjusted to this new season of life!

From my favorite nursing bra (that offers support, too) to my can’t live without eye cream (for those sleep deprived days), I am sharing a list of postpartum essentials (what I have loved after having my son and daughter) so that you can feel your best while easing into the chaos of mom life!

1. Kindred Bravely Nursing & Hands Free Pumping Bra:  This nursing friendly bra is super comfortable while still being supportive and most definitely a postpartum essential when nursing. I love that it’s basically a t-shirt bra and invisible under clothes. I can seamlessly transition from nursing to hands-free pumping, which definitely makes life easier with a newborn!

2.  Magnesium Powder:  After multiple days in the hospital on IV fluids, I was excited to get home and back into my supplement routine.  I typically take a magnesium supplement before bed, but I needed an extra dose postpartum.  This magnesium powder mixes easily with water, was easy to drink daily, and made me feel like a new person.

3. Nursing Pajamas: These were my favorite maternity pajamas for their comfort, ease and of course stylishness.  And they transitioned beautifully into postpartum.  They are nursing friendly, and the robe allows for more modesty when visitors pop by to see the baby.

4. Mothers Milk Tea: For the nursing mamas, you want to drink and eat things that are geared to support your breast milk.  This organic tea tastes pretty good and is easy to sip throughout the day.

5. Eye Mask: Sneaking in a nap when the baby is sleeping is the goal as a new mama.  And since those naps often happen during the day, a good eye mask helps block out the light and allows for better sleep.  This eye mask also feels lovely on the skin and doesn’t leave marks on your face.

6. Breast Balm Salve:   Applying this Breast Balm Salve after every feeding made a world of a difference!  This ensures you can nurse baby with ease.
