White Jeans Outfit Ideas: How to Style White Jeans 3 Ways
If there’s one staple that always seems to emerge from a woman’s wardrobe when spring and summer arrive are white jeans, although I fully believe that they can be worn all year long. But for some of you who are still abiding by the age-old rule of not wearing them after Labor Day, then it’s now time to create outfits with this essential. White denim is what I consider to be a foundational item as it can be styled in many ways for various occasions. Therefore, if you have yet to invest in a quality pair, I encourage you to do so!
Consider styling them in a fresh, new way and taking full advantage of their versatility. Below are three ways I have styled my own white jeans with items in my closet.
Style Tip: White jeans are taking on new forms this season. From distressed, to straight leg, to cropped kick flare, and boot cut. While white skinny jeans are a classic, try changing it up this summer with a fresh new style. Pairing your white jeans with a white tee topped with a fun third piece (blazer, denim jacket, cardigan) creates a nice elongated & pulled together look. This outfit was perfect for a casual day of working with clients. The metallic accents in my shoes & accessories adds some texture and shine to the white column and nautical inspired jacket.
Style Tip: White jeans are a great basic as you can dress them up or down. For dressy casual occasions here’s my invitation to you: avoid the white jeans + silk top + wedges style rut. While this outfit formula does work, it’s become ‘over done’ and it’s time to branch out. An easy way to try something new that’s still in your comfort zone is switching out your wedges (especially if they’re clunky) for a sleek block heel sandal (bonus points if they’re a mule). Then instead of a solid color silk blouse, try fun print or at least a top with a fun shape. This peplum top is such a happy summer top that really pops against the white denim.
