Transitional Weather Outfit Ideas: My Week of Transition Weather Outfits
What’s a girl to wear when the calendar says it’s fall, but the weather isn’t exactly cooperating with your desire to wear your favorite cozy sweater? This time of the year can be tricky for getting dressed.
With my style tips and personal outfits below, you can “look” like fall while still being comfortable in the warmer temperatures. Dive in to know my transitional weather outfit ideas now!
Transitional Weather Outfit #1
Select light weight and shorter sleeve length tops in rich, fall hues that say fall without the bulk and layers. Add light weight accessories that compliment the fall tones of your shirt to create a crisp autumnal look. I personally prefer a great pair of close toe stylish sneakers and silk scarves.
Transitional Weather Outfit #2
Take your summer dresses in darker tones and pair a light weight third piece over it to take it into fall. I often grab my denim jacket as it’s stretchy, light weight and the right length to wear with dresses. Make sure to always roll up your sleeves on your denim jacket for a more flattering look. And while sandal weather is almost over, if you do opt for a sandal make sure it’s in a richer, darker color and/or fabric.
Transition Weather Outfit 3: Animal print is THE print of the season, and it’s the perfect way to begin transitioning your look into fall. Select an animal print in a light weight silk, cotton, or jersey material to keep from getting toasty in the fluctuating temperatures. Pair it back with stretchy jeans in your favorite cut, a close toe ballet flat or mule, and you’re set!
