get more relaxation out of your vacation

L'Amour

Have you ever come back from a getaway and felt like you needed a vacation from your vacation??

It’s hard to turn off, unplug, and just relax in those moments that can, at times, feel like anything but a real vacation.

There is nothing relaxing about that!

We are busy women, which means we’re on the go A LOT. Between work and family, it’s important to economize your time. Plus, it’s summer, which means that if you’re a mom, you probably have even less time to yourself than you do at other times of the year.

Relaxation is a beautiful thing. You deserve to enjoy the time you set aside for yourself.

So I’m here to help you get into that mindset and settle into your “zen mode” faster whether you’re on a trip, at your desk, in your car, or trying to unwind at night…

1/ If you don’t schedule it, it won’t happen- If you haven’t already scheduled some “me time” do so now. I will never stop suggesting this tip because I know it’s the one thing that as women we can never do enough of. If you’re on a trip, book a massage or another type of spa appt. This is one of my favorite ways to get in the relaxation mindset when I’m on vacation. It’s something I do just for me. If you’re at home, schedule an activity that you enjoy. Even if it’s something as small as drinking a cup of tea.

2/ Be present in the moment- This is one of the best ways to unwind, but it’s also one of the hardest. Wherever you are make a point of turning off your phone, don’t check your email, and just enjoy your own company or your family. We miss a lot when we’re taking pictures to capture the moment rather than just being in it.

3/ There is NO SHAME in taking time for yourself- It’s easy to feel guilty about something, but that doesn’t mean it’s right. It’s healthy to take a break for a little while, and it makes you a better friend, wife, daughter, co-worker, and mother. Let go of the guilt! This alone with take a lot of stress off your shoulders. You deserve more time to relax even if for just a few minutes playing games on fast withdrawal casino.

4/ Breath Easy- I released this video back around Christmas and it’s still one of my favorite go-to videos when I need to relax. Practice these simple breathing exercises to relax and feel rejuvenated!

Now watch below to enjoy some of my favorite and super easy to implement breathing exercises sure to help you get some much needed relaxation
